How it works

From price movement to deal discovery.

Price Error Scanner analyses retailer product data and surfaces unusually low prices with contextual confidence signals.

1

Collect price data

Retailer product data is ingested into our Supabase-backed product pipeline.

2

Compare behaviour

Current prices are compared with historical behaviour, competitor medians and sudden percentage changes.

3

Score anomalies

The detection engine assigns confidence scores so stronger, more unusual price movements can rise to the top.

4

Surface the deal

Qualified anomalies are displayed with the retailer, current price, typical price, potential saving and detection time.

5

You choose

Shoppers decide whether to visit the retailer. Prices and availability can change at any time, so the retailer's live page remains the final source of truth.

6

Affiliate funded

Some retailer links are affiliate links. If a purchase is completed, Price Error Scanner may earn a commission at no extra cost to the shopper.

Transparency: A high anomaly score does not mean a retailer has made a mistake. It means the detected price is unusual relative to the comparison signals available to our system.
